The Isorast® Floor - Ceiling System consists out of light
weight steel girder, a sophisticated insulation panel with sound
dampening qualities. The ceiling underneath is part of this insulation
panel. On top of the floor system a 5 cm (2 inch) concrete core will be
poured. No hanging drywalls, the ceiling is ready for finish work. It
can be finished with stucco, wood boards, foam boards or any kind of
ceiling tiles. Electric pipes and light fixtures are easily cut in the
insulation panel between the girder, before the concrete is poured. The
steel girder are galvanized and come pre-cut in the raster of 12.5 cm
(4.92 inch).

The
floor / ceiling system is mainly used as ceiling in one storey
structures and as floor/ceiling in multiple storey structures or for
buildings with an basement. Air circulation channels on top of the
floor system can be installed with the 18 cm (7 1/8) wide Isorast
wall elements. Those channels eliminated the inefficient duct work and
provide a clean air stream to the room underneath. For the connection
from the channel to the room a PCV pipe can be installed in the
insulation panel with a grill underneath in the ceiling part or the
panel (before concrete pour). Those channels will serve the need of
fresh air for heading or cooling purpose.
More advanced,
eco-oriented user can also chose the new radiant wall cooling / heating
system. A capillary system in the Isorast interior walls insulation.
Cold or warm water is running slowly through the system and is cooling
(heating) the wall interior surface. No compressor needed, no dirty
filter will distribute bacteria or dust in the room anymore. A special
clay mix stucco will self regulate the room humidity and takes odors or
dust out of the air. Clay is an earth based natural material and widely
used since over 1000 years. The room climate is so healthy that some
people with allergic- or breathing problems say that their problems
disappeared after several weeks living in the house. Another beneficial
" side-effect" of Clay is the reduction of high frequency and magnetic

Floor / Ceiling Installation:
The
installation of the floor / ceiling system is easy, clean and fast.
Steel girder, insulation panel and concrete. All walls, interior and
exterior will be connected to the floor/ceiling system. Tremendous
strength is created for the entire structure. High insulation and
complete elimination of acoustic lenght transfer through the patented
"Goesele Schlitze". The integrated ceiling can be finished with stucco,
wood panels or any other application. Light fixtures and anchors should
be integrated in the hard foam insulation panel before the last
