In general construction the ceiling of the building is made out of wood beams and drywall. As soon the wind pressure enters the room by breaking the windows, an upplift is generated and blows off the entire roof. The consequences are devastating.
Any Isorast constructionhas interior and exterior bearing walls - rock-solid filled with concrete and steel. Those walls can be extended up to 26 cm (10 1/4 inch) pure concrete cell plus insulation. What means super-strength. But this is not all. In addition our "floor-ceiling" system on top of the walls is interlocking with interior and exterior walls. On top of the floor ceiling system the same high grade concrete is pored and floating into the walls.
That means the entire construction is one solid concrete grid, reinforced with steel in walls and the top floor itself. (see on pictures below)

The patented Isorast floor-ceiling system is installed in one step by a 4-man crew. No crane is necessary. The weight of light weight girder is only 9 kg per meter (3.3 feet). Now, even when a window would break, the generated uplift will not lift the floor - ceiling because of it's connection to the entire wall structure and fundation. Normal construction cost estimation based on 50% shell and 50% finish. With Isorast this is a little different. Under normal circumsdance the shell construction cost drops from 50% to 35%. Rule: As bigger the project as lower the shell price will be.
